Go Riders

Tomorrow is a big day in Saskatchewan as our very own Saskatchewan Roughriders play in the Grey Cup! I am very proud to share that my Dad Cliff Shaw and Uncle Wayne Shaw won the Grey Cup in 1966! The Shaw brothers have quite a legacy in Saskatchewan Football. They both were members of the Saskatoon Hilltops and my Dad was the captain. Dad played 5 years for the Hilltops and 6 years for the Riders. Uncle Wayne played for 13 years with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and was inducted into the hall of fame. I have circled my day and uncle in the photo bellow. Dad wore number 51 and Uncle Wayne wore 50. GO RIDERS!

Here is a link to a great song by Jason Plumb. He was in Swift Current a few years ago at a blenders at the art gallery and we loved his show. If you watch close you'll see Jacinda from Empire at the beginning of the video dressed in a green Elvis and Pricilla costume.
